    FLORIDA EDUCATION CENTER to host Graduation ceremony for 103 Students Friday

     

    Lauderhill, Fla., Nov. 10, 2006Florida Education Center will host a graduation ceremony Friday evening, November 10th for 103 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward Convention Center at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd., Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  Florida Education Center Graduate Spencer Westmoreland, Technical Support Engineer of The Answer Group in North Lauderdale, Fla., will keynote the ceremony.

     

    Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in five programs including allied health and computer business systems. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state.  According to the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation, Labor Market Information, Long-Term Employment Projections, 2006, pharmacy technician positions are expected to increase by 28.4 percent, dental assistant positions by 30.8 percent and medical assistant positions by 37.6 percent from 2006 to 2014.

     
    “Graduation is an exciting time for our students, their families and friends,” said Anna Howell, Director of Career Services of Florida Education Center. “We are proud to join in the celebration of our students’ achievements.”

     

    Florida Education Center is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education. The campus is a branch location of Ohio Institute of Photography & Technology in Dayton, Ohio
