2008 2007 2006 2005 2004 2003 2002 2001 2000	Hamilton College, Cedar Rapids to Host Graduation Ceremony for 174 Students Thursday Executive Director of Diversity Focus in Cedar Rapids to Keynote Ceremony CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa, Sept. 20, 2007 —Hamilton College, Cedar Rapids campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 20, for 174 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 pm at the Paramount Theatre at 123 Third Avenue, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Alfred Ramirez, Executive Director of Diversity Focus in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, will keynote the ceremony. The ceremony will recognize students for earning bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees and diplomas in one of 14 programs in fields including business, allied health, practical nursing, technology and criminal justice. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Iowa Occupational Projections, a report from Iowa Workforce Development, Policy and Information Division, medical assistant positions are expected to increase 30.6 percent and licensed practical nursing positions by 23.8 percent from 2004 to 2014.
