Maric College’s Riverside Campus to Hold Graduation Ceremony for 205 Students Wednesday
RIVERSIDE
, Calif.
, May 21, 2008—The Maric College Riverside campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, for 205 students. The ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium, 3485 Mission Avenue, Riverside, Calif.
Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in one of four programs in the allied health field. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the California Long-Term Occupational Employment Projections, a report by the California Employment Development Department, Labor Market Information Division, massage therapy positions are expected to increase by 21.4 percent, medical assistant positions by 35.7 percent and pharmacy technician positions by 26.4 percent from 2004 to 2014.
The Maric College Riverside campus is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.
