PHILADELPHIA, April 8, 2008—The Thompson Institute Philadelphia campus will hold a graduation ceremony on Tuesday, April 8th, for 238 students. The ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the Irvine Auditorium 3401 Spruce St., Philadelphia. Executive director of Vision Quest, Marcus Allen, will keynote the ceremony.
Students will be recognized for earning diplomas in one of four programs in the allied health or electrical fields. Upon graduation, students may be eligible for entry-level positions in their field of study. According to the Occupational Employment Projections in State, a report by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, medical assistant positions are expected to increase by 29.3 percent and dental assistant positions by 29.4 percent from 2004 to 2014.
